I live on the A942 just on the outskirts of Portknockie village. The current speed limit outside my home is 60mph with the village only 200 meters further along the road. No one slows down and the speed clock is triggered each time. I have two children with ASN and each day is very worrying as they travel into the village for school and catching the bus. There isn’t even a pavement into the village for them to walk on. I would ask that this stretch of road is looked at as the speed of vehicles travelling on this road, it will only be a matter of time before a serous incident occurs.
