17 September 2025
This year marks 10 years of Scottish Housing Day and celebrates the theme of good neighbours and strong communities. Those everyday actions that help us feel connected, supported, and proud of where we live.
Across Moray, we see community spirit in action every day. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a helping hand, or a kind gesture, these small acts of kindness make a big difference. Volunteering and being a good neighbour help build stronger, happier places to live – and they make us feel good too!
Let's shine a light on the people who go above and beyond to make their neighbourhoods better. Maybe it’s someone who always checks in on others, keeps the community garden blooming, or simply spreads joy wherever they go.
Now’s your chance to say thank you. Nominate your local tenant legend – the neighbour or volunteer who makes your community special.
All nominees will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 high street shopping voucher.
Let’s celebrate the everyday heroes who help make Moray a place we’re proud to call home.
