This Park has been prioritised as one of four play parks in Moray for renewal in the 2025-2026 financial year.
The slide unit has recently been removed due to significant structural corrosion. The see saw will be removed. The swing set is in good condition and will be kept.
The Archiestown Village Council and other community representatives are working with Moray Council throughout this process. This renewal will be completed using a participatory budgeting approach meaning that the community of Archiestown have the opportunity to influence the project scope of service (the description of what style of play we would like designers to provide) and to vote for their preferred design.
The chosen play park design will be installed by March 2027.
