Installation to begin September 2026

We're excited to share that the new play park is a step closer!

The remaining old equipment is expected to be removed from mid-August, with installation of the new equipment due to start in the first two weeks of September.

Once work begins, it should take around three weeks to complete, although this will depend on weather conditions and there being no unexpected delays.

After the new equipment has been installed, the play area will go through the usual final safety checks before it opens to the public. We'll share another update on opening arrangements as the project progresses.
