Tenant participation means working together to shape the housing services you use. Whether you want to stay informed, share your views, or help influence decisions, there’s a way for you to get involved at a level that suits you.
You don’t need experience – just an interest in making things better for you and your community.
Ways to get involved
Moray Tenants Forum
The Forum are a friendly tenant-led group open to all our tenants. They meet regularly and aim to improve housing services and conditions for all our tenants. You can choose to join meetings either in-person or online.
Estate Walkabouts
Have a say on how our estate improvement budget gets spent. Join elected members and housing staff on a walkabout in your area to discuss your improvement ideas.
Consultations
If we’re reviewing our services or making any major changes to our policies, you can give your feedback by filling out a survey or taking part in a discussion group.
Satisfaction surveys
We run regular surveys on a range of topics to gather your feedback as well as a larger independent survey every three years. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well and what we need to improve.
Tenant scrutiny
Tenants interested in reviewing our services closely may want to join a tenant scrutiny group. These groups independently review our housing services to ensure they are delivered to a high standard and that tenants’ views are considered.
Tenant Editorial Panel
The panel help us produce our newsletter Tenants’ Voice. They help by, suggesting and/or writing articles, giving feedback on draft content, and making sure it’s tone, content, style and language is tenant friendly and jargon free.
Join our list of interested tenants
These are people we contact when we’re consulting on housing issues and to promote tenant participation activities and events.
Please get in touch if you're interested in finding out more about any of the above opportunities. Or complete the form below:
